The workshop where ideas take shape before they are built.
Drop an idea in one sentence. Calamio makes it grow, challenges it and turns it into a build-ready deliverable. Calamio ideates; it does not build.
In development — working prototypeThe problem
Between the spark ("what if we…?") and a usable brief, people circle around their first ideas, never really test them, and keep little trace of how they got there. A regular chat assistant reassures; Calamio makes you diverge, and records everything.
What the workshop does
- The LaboratoryFrom one sentence to a board of idea cards; creative verbs (push, invert, analogy, worst idea, exaggerate, merge) spawn derived cards, all traced.
- A council that pushes backAn AI that argues against a path before you commit to it.
- DecideChoose between competing paths, with a mandatory, recorded reason.
- Make it concreteTurn a board into a structured deliverable: segment, falsifiable hypothesis, risks, backlog, exportable to a build tool.
- Built-in encyclopediaA Markdown vault of 600+ entries, usable as raw material.
- History and replayEvery path, decision and derivation is a replayable event in a hash-chained journal.
Principles
Anti-fakery: anything produced by the AI is labelled as such, never shown as a real measurement; on failure, an honest error rather than a fake answer. Choice of engine: several language models, local or hosted, with their real health shown, and a safety profile suited to a young audience. Full traceability: nothing is lost, everything replays.
What comes next
Calamio runs locally today, for one person. Next steps: a hosted version, and the bridge to build tools so the deliverable becomes an executed plan.
